HEJ Athletic is an FA-affiliated grassroots football club, formed and located in Milton Keynes since 2018 and is run by parent volunteers.
HEJ Athletic Football Club recognises that all children within our club play football for different reasons. The football club is and has always been inclusive for boys and girls and wants all of its current and future members to enjoy playing football, having fun and learning and developing their football skills in a safe, and well-managed environment with training sessions twice a week for an affordable and low-cost membership.
Hej Athletic Football Club is based at Giffard Park Primary School on Broadway Ave, Giffard Park, Milton Keynes, MK14 5PY.
All of the HEJ teams from U7’s upwards train on Monday and Friday evenings at Giffard Park Primary School.
March – October – 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
October – March – Training times are staggered between 5:45 – 7:30 pm
Every child who attends HEJ training sessions needs to be wearing age-appropriate shin pads, and suitable footwear for the playing surfaces for the grass, astro or hard-court surfaces, football boots or trainers. Every player needs to bring a drink.
Once your child has registered for HEJ Football Club and paid their annual membership and if there is space in one of the HEJ teams’ parents will be given the opportunity to purchase a HEJ match kit for £30.
All of the grassroots match friendlies and League games are played on Saturday mornings between 09:00 am – 12:00 pm. All Home games are played at Giffard Park Primary school. Coaches and managers will provide game details in advance of matches.
The current annual player membership at HEJ Football Club is £130 a year and a £30 Match kit payment once a year. The club asks for two payments of £65 to be paid to the club’s bank account on the 1st of April and October. We ask any parents who are struggling to make the membership payments to speak to a member of the club committee.
HEJ Athletic is an inclusive football club and boys and Girls are welcome and some of our current HEJ teams have mixed players with boys and girls.
Every player who joins HEJ Athletic Football Club needs their parent to register them on the FA online Whole Game System. All HEJ parents will have to create an online FAN profile for themselves and their child so all their personal details are stored securely and they will then be assigned to HEJ Athletic once the FAN account has been created.
Once a player has been registered at HEJ Football Club their parents will be added to the HEJ club and team Whatsapp groups or SPOND APP.
We want every player at HEJ Athletic to enjoy themselves and we will not tolerate any verbal abuse from parents or players. Alcohol is not permitted under any circumstances and there is a no smoking policy at Giffard Park school. Dogs are not permitted or allowed on the school grounds unless risk is assessed and agreed upon by the club committee and school in advance.
Each year HEJ Athletic arranges a summer presentation in July and a Christmas party in December which is included in the membership price.
HEJ Athletic Football Club shuts down and gives players breaks during school half-terms and there is no football on bank holidays. The club will finish for 3-4 weeks in the summer holidays at the beginning of August each year after the tournament season ends. Pre-season training resumes at the beginning of September.
